The TV

I think that to watch the TV could have some advantages and disadvantages all depends that point of view of each person and how much you spend watching the TV and the kind of TV programs that you see that could be particularly entertainment and news, the advantages for me are that if you see good programs you can improve your knowledge while you are relax . Another advantage is that you can share more time with your family and It is not important the kind of program in this case, (I like to see the TV in this case because because is one way that we can spend more time togheter ). I rarely watch the soap opera because sometimes I think that some of they have the similar story , although there are exceptions, because some have a good message, some disadvantages are that you read less books and interesting magazines.

Only an Opinion

ABOUT MUSIC...

A like very much the music, I think that I am the kind of person that prefer to listen music more than to watch TV for long hours, although enjoy watching the TV program "La Academia" ,in general all are good singers, in some kind of music, but especially I like to listen one of the critics, because , I don´t know, but I think that the critic named "El maestro" , (I don´t remember the name)that he give to the pupils, not only you can

implement to improve a song or an interpretation, you can implement this advice in the life itself, I don´t Know it´s only my point of view. I beliebe that you usually listen the kind of music depending of you state of mind and that the lyrics of certains songs betray the way you feel without to say anything, if you are sad, worry about something , or if you have any problem. In some cases this (the music) could be a motivation...like me.

JEAN-DOMINIQUE BAUBY

JEAN- DOMINIQUE BAUBY

I remember a story that my sister shared with me , she read the story in a old magazine Reader´s of Digest It's an autobiography by French journalist Jean Dominique Bauby, who, after suffering a severe stroke is completely paralysed - except for his left eyelid. Through a quick reshuffle of the alphabet and a patient translator, this book was 'written'. "The diving Bell and Butterfly

the title refers to Bauby's horrific paralysis, which weighted him down, but left his mind free to float off like a butterfly.

It's a short book, for obvious reasons. Bauby had to memorise each chapter for the benefit of his translator and yet this stilted approach doesn't mar his writing. His internal journey in the book is moving and powerfully told. Unintentionally, his writing is philosophical and very poetic. In a passage where he talks about coveting letters from his friends, he says: "I hoard all these letters like treasure. One day I hope to fasten them end to end in a half-mile streamer, to float in the wind like a banner raised to the glory of friendship." It seems the worst possible way to bring on an epiphany, but there's a sense that Bauby is finally realising what is important and his troubled relationship with his young children is only touched on.

What could also have been a dirge of self-pity is filled with hope. There is even a ripple of humour running through it. When an unfriendly doctor comes to see him and asks if he sees double, Bauby thinks to himself: "Yes, I see two assholes, not one". Some of his most astute observations are about the everyday and it's here he confronts the power of memory. An entire chapter devoted to the joy of eating sausages would make anyone hungry and for Bauby food is a sensuous luxury of the mind when you're fed through a tube in your stomach.

The book is not without its sadness. His children come to see him and his son wipes away his drool; his infirm father is as bed-bound as he is and can't visit. He tells us that he "can weep discreetly. People think my eye is watering." But time and again, the optimism and the perspective we should all have on what constitutes a getting a raw deal in life, breaks through.

beautiful words Bauby were writen in his book and I would like to read some day.

BEAUTIFUL PHENOMENON

NORTHERN LIGHTS

NORTHERN LIGHTS
I was reading a magazine, reading about the northern lights , I think that is a beautiful phenomenon .The aurora was named after the Roman goddess of dawn, and was long thought to be produced by sunlight reflected from polar snow and ice, or refracted light much like rainbows.

Researchers indicate that the aurora is caused by radiation emitted as light from atoms in the upper atmosphere as they are hit by fast-moving electrons and protons. The kind of atom determines the color.

The scientific explanation is that the aurora is a Physics phenomenon taking place 50 to 200 miles above the Earth. Solar winds flow across the Earth´s upper atmosphere, hitting molecules of gas lighting them up much like neon sign
Best Time to Watch The Aurora Borealis at their most dazzling from December to March when nights are longest and the sky darkest, can usually be seen even as far south as Juneau.
An Eskimo tale records that the northern lights are spirits playing ball in the sky with a walrus skull. Another legend, calls them the flaming torches carried by departed souls guiding travelers to the afterlife.
